  • cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • cup nutella
  • gold sugar


Spritz Tree Cookies

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and extracts. In a separate bowl, whisk flour and baking powder; gradually beat into cream mixture.
  • Using a cookie press fitted with the tree disk, press the dough 2 in apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until set, about 7-8 minutes (oven temps vary). Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Spread nutella on the bottoms of half of the cookies and top with the remaining cookies. Sprinkle the tops with gold sugar. Store in airtight container.


  • Store in an airtight container for 5 days in the fridge
  • Freeze for up to a month
