Move on over Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, my breakfast waffles and pancakes have a new friend in town! Meet the best Pumpkin spice syrup. It will be sticking around until the end of fall, or maybe until it's gone (I give it one week).

No disrespect to maple syrup because it is delicious, but trying a more fall inspired syrup on hot pancakes, gave my life a whole new meaning!  Pumpkin spice syrup flavor is super rich and once it it poured over a pad of butter on a waffle, my lips get smacking! It can also be used in any hot coffee drink or tea! The options are endless with this syrup.

    Ingredients and substitutions

All of the ingredients in this syrup can be found in your pantry. However, if you don't stock pumpkin puree, then you may have to only make one trip to the store. In addition, the cost to make this pumpkin spice syrup is low!

    •  Libby's pumpkin puree: other brands can be used as well. But this is a must to have in it to give it that extra pumpkin flavor.
    • Pumpkin pie spice: Homemade can be used, but if you are short on time, this is a great substitute.
    • Granulated sugar: Can't have a syrup without sugar!
    • Brown sugar: Light or dark. This gives the syrup its rich, sweeter taste.
    • Vanilla extract: Great flavor enhancer!
    • Water

What can this syrup be used in?

    • Add it to coffee or tea and save yourself money from buying a Starbucks!

    Welcome

    About me Carrie Blaser

Hi my name is Carrie. I am just a sassy girl from the midwest that has a sweet tooth for any type of dessert. I grew up in the kitchen and remember making my sister scrambled eggs at 8 years old. But I really fell in love with baking when I made my first Betty Crocker cake out of the box. I like to think that I have come a long way since then!
